Honestly, tho, she’d probably appreciate a really thoughtful, handwritten note even more. Teachers get a lot of comments from the angry / bitter / complaining parents, but barely any from the satisfied / happy ones! I know she loves seeing that her work is appreciated. :)

The one advantage to having a food allergy is that I can use it (legitimately) to get out of these situations. I can’t eat like 99% of products sold in those catalogs so I have a solid excuse.

I’ve seen a neurologist too, which is why I was surprised when it worked for me. I tried sumitriptan (didn’t work) and maxalt (worked ok except it made me sleep and my throat feel swollen, yikes) so it was def weird that an OTC drug worked better for me.

I’m just so glad I discovered Excedrin. An aunt gave me some when I got a migraine at her house, and omg that shit works better than my prescribed medication. I feel super fortunate…
