I wouldn’t have a problem with this. The fact that the race itself is in Azerbaijan is irrelevant, it’s about as generic a street circuit there is (except for the castle). Personally I think it’s a bad layout, and hosted in a country most famous for its oil reserves and human rights abuse. I’d much rather see it move

You mean the Vatican museums right? The church itself is something you just show up to visit from what I remember.

You can, it’s part of the S Line appearance package (at least in Canada).

This has a bit of a douche vibe to it but I’d slap them on my car without even thinking about it.

Can’t you though? You can spec the A4 with the flatbottom steering wheel. I think the only different is that the little badge says S Line instead of RS.

This. I tried that on my first car years ago by *starting* on the upper driver’s side. It immediately left some very noticeable scratches that I was never really able to get out; right in my field of view.

In fairness that part of the film had a Buick LeSabre duke it out with a Lincoln Continental, but the point stands.

The A3 is a lot smaller than than the Jetta though, the two may not necessarily be appealing to the same buyer.

The only element I can’t quite get onboard with is the automatic shift lever, it looks oddly sub-par in an otherwise excellent interior. But I’m really splitting hairs here.

I’d be interested to know what actual dishes people are making with pasta if it’s contributing to massive weight gain. I’m suspicious that the people making the extremely heavy cream-based sauces are the ones most vocal about how cutting pasta out of their life has resulted in weight loss.

I can see the humor in the situation, but at what point did taking poor care of your health become so accepted?

I’ve tried it with my friends a few times, but we always got too drunk to ever finish the game.

Wow dude.... This is just sad.

It was actually dismantled overnight.

Auto 0-60 times are identical, and did I even mention laptimes or track performance? Go have an argument with yourself somewhere else please. The standard Golf has both more horsepower and more torque. Get your facts straight first.

Very much this. I’d rather have my knees brushing against the seat in front than my toes jammed against a wall. Being able to push your feet forward is more comfortable and generally moves your knees away from the seat anyway.

200hp is fine, but 150lb-ft isn’t. Basically every car in the economy segment can match this, and consequently they all have similar 0-60 times. Yes I agree that isn’t really the point of this car but come on people, a standard Golf will put up better performance numbers. For the same price, get the GTI and you’ll be

You mean the part of Canada that actually has people in it?

I think GM’s propensity at the time to use a ludicrous amount of ATF may have helped with its longevity. I had a 1998 LeSabre for a few years and at one point did get the transmission fluid changed (it had the 4T65-E for anyone interested). The damn thing needed a little over 18 liters of fluid! That’s an astounding

If you did the basic maintenance on GM cars of that era, 300K and up is not unheard of; especially those with the 3800 V6. Change the oil twice a year and it’ll run practically forever.
