Just thinking out loud here, but what about the feasibility of taking the I-5 and increasing the output? I think part of the reason why the R8 is so special is because of the V10 and that exhaust note; the 5-cylinder won’t quote do the same thing but it’ll be much more special than a V6.

The ATS was released in 2013 and sort of split sales between it and the redesigned CTS that was sold alongside it. The dip in sales has a lot to do with the lineup changes.

I visited both countries last summer with my brother. He bought a data-only SIM card at Heathrow, and it proceded to work in all the countries we visited, including France. You should be fine.

So unless I’m mistaken, the A3 is the last model to get an update. Do we have any word on when this is going to happen? I don’t think the model is getting killed off is it?

I live in Montreal, and there are several multi-year road construction projects going on that result in week-to-week changes in traffic flow and route options, and often times not-insignificant changes either.

Totally agreed. Waze has occasionally sent me on 10+ km detours that work out to the same total time traveled, but it just seems so inefficient even if it doesn’t actually take longer.

This is a surefire way to not forget things. If I need to bring something out of the ordinary along with me to work or just with me in general, i’ll put my car key on top of it, so that the furthest I can get without what I need to is to the door of my car before realizing something is missing. It’s a pretty low-risk

My first car was also my grandpa’s LeSabre, the 1998 in quicksilver metallic and the Limited trim. The thing was fantastic - super comfortable, plenty of space in the back for my friends, enough power to actually make highway driving enjoyable, and TONS of gadgets. The damn thing had dual zone automatic climate

This is an opinion piece. He voiced his opinion.

To be fair, that iteration of the MacBook Air was objectively better than a lot of the cheap plastic ultrabooks of the same era. If weight/size was a legitimate consideration, that laptop was a good purchase.

I’m with you on that. I was eagerly awaiting that refresh of the MBP lineup, only to be bitterly disappointed. I found the price to be excessively high and functionality was heavily limited without carrying a bunch of dongles. So instead I said f*** it and bought a Surface Book instead. At this point I think I’m done

I really wish they hadn’t lifted the steering wheel out of the Golf and stuck in in here. This car needs to feel more premium and I’m just not seeing it. Couldn’t they have at least stolen the GTI wheel minus the GTI badge on it?

To add a couple more:

Local here, this place definitely isn’t overrated. It’s a must if you’re in town.

This isn’t exactly surprising. They’re very new to building cars yet they believe they can outpace General Motors in sheer volume while somehow maintaining a higher level of quality?

My experience with this is that it’s often the less expensive restaurants that bring out water unrequested. Maybe it’s an attempt to make the table look more full or offer higher perceived value for the meal?

I hope the courts make an example out of these two morons. What they did is exceptionally dangerous and there should be a zero-tolerance policy for stupid driving in areas with heavy pedestrian traffic. And we haven’t even gotten to the part where they intentionally tried to run over a police officer...

I didn’t know this was even a thing, and now I’m incredibly sad that it isn’t sold in North America.

I’d be willing to ditch the German offerings for this. It’s really a shame that you can’t get too many “normal” wagons in North America. I have zero desire for these “allroad” type wagons, I just want a normal car that doesn’t have a trunk.

Heated seats truly are a life-changing feature. Especially if you park your car outside during the non-summer months, having the heated seats can hold you over until the car heater is warm enough to take over.
