I've seen the videos on youtube and I maintain that it just looked ridiculous. Honestly, how hard is it to see a black puck on white ice? I can follow it just fine on broadcasts from the 1960s with shaky camerawork and lowframerates, along with a black and white image.

I may have worded that wrong; my point is that innovation shouldn't be cut out just so that we can have teams operating on a significantly smaller budget. Throwing money around doesn't guarantee any kind of success, just ask Toyota. But, these rules that were introduced in order to reduce costs really haven't done

They need to stop trying to artificially replicate what once made F1 so exciting to watch and let the teams actually push the boundaries of what's possible again. I have little sympathy for the smaller teams that can't afford to innovate, just get rid of them and let the big boys play. Just think of all the crazy

I'm reasonably sure I picked up both those games for $10 or $15 during a previous steam sale. For better or for worse, it's gonna happen this time too.

Good point, but the average casual observer of cars in North America will likely have never heard of Holden.

We should probably just say: any car with a supercharged 3800. Man that thing was good; and as the owner of a car with a naturally aspirated 3800, I'm very jealous.

2007 BMW 335i with an Juicebox 4.

^This. Also there's probably an argument to be made for some of the more recent Regals with the Series II supercharged engine.

Not so much detuned as substantially underrated. It seems to be that Buick listed that car as having about 100hp less than it actually produced.

Pontiac G8. It looks fairly ordinary, but it could come equipped with a 400+hp V8 under the hood.

True, but that model is still being recalled for a related issue.

Despite the perceptions of low quality, my 17 year old Buick still runs better than a lot of the other cars on the road, so that's keeping me from writing off GM entirely (still considering buying an ATS at some point this year).

Office isn't really all that expensive, and I'm sure a lot of the people using it aren't using it for Word. The more significant reason is for Excel, which is arguably the best productivity application there is, especially when you consider all the specialized addons available. That right there is the big draw of MS

I upgraded on day one because Windows 8 has several performance improvements over 7. Anyone claiming that they're holding out because they're a desktop user or whatever is just afraid of change, even if it's change for the better.

Wouldn't it be beneficial for multiple reasons to stop over on long trips? At which point you could eat or at least stop to throw away the trash.

Don't eat or drink in your car. That'll eliminate practically all the garbage that would end up in there. I can't understand how anyone is so busy that the only place they can eat is in the car. Plus if you are, you're significantly increasing the chance of ruining the upholstery.

Don't forget that the Regal is also offered with a manual.

I'm pretty sure he never used that word, and actually it would be garbage for their purposes since they're completely unusable.

Really? A 32 year old with no proven talent on tracks with right turns? Add to that her lack of ability to provide feedback to her engineers relating to car setup means her candidacy is already dead in the water.
