I never understood why cars need so many cupholders. I don't think I've ever felt the need to use one.

This is one of those ideas that sounds good on paper; but in reality it doesn't prove anything. Having the gamer be subject to g-forces that are completely out of sync with his game serves only to give have an unfair disadvantage.

People who think more power will get them unstuck. It seems to be that nobody understands that if you don't start moving, pushing down on the accelerator is not going to fix it.

This. It infuriates me beyond belief when everyone on the highway is driving 25km/h despite there being bare pavement. I don't care if it's snowing; if you're tires are directly on the asphalt, you can drive much faster than 25.

Big money can be made by actually being nice to your customers; so it's nice to hear of a mobile carrier actually doing that.

Sounds like terrible luck more than anything else. I really hope he pulls through.

I buy a lot of games that are on sale and probably never finish any of them; but I don't really mind. I got them at a good price, and I'm still supporting the developers so that we continue seeing more games in the future (especially indie games).

I tried that, I still get the "The Google Play music player is currently available in select territories." message. Oh well.

Again, this service is not available in Canada (yet).

The group shared this on Twitter around halloween. This is Lauren Mayberry dressed up as Prince.

These guys are probably the most underrated group of 2013. Their debut album is one of the few I've heard recently that I can actually listen to all the way through. The future is looking bright for these three (especially that beauty of a singer!)

That is very much what the real issue is; but regardless it's not an option for me at this point. Although rumors constantly come up that the canadian launch of google music is on its way.

This is an interesting option. Offline listening is a big deal for me because I listen a lot on my phone and I can't stream everything or I'd use up my mobile data in a few days. It may not work out cheaper than Rdio, but I'm going to try it out anyway.

They did, but not to Rdio; and since I can't use Spotify in Canada, MP3 files it is.

I'm still in school so I don't have a considerable income, but I've set up to have money to go into two investment accounts automatically, because otherwise I wouldn't put any in there. Of course I didn't always feel so inclined to spend money, so I had a good amount already saved up, but I made a point to continue

We used to have a Pontiac minivan in the family that had the same freezing lock problem. I remember the sliding door was especially bad, and sometimes it would only defrost once we got on the highway. Slightly terrifying experience!

Could be, Google won't let me use it because it's not supported in Canada.

You make an interesting point there. Google keeps pushing forward with updates hardly even worthy of a new revision number; and a lot of manufacturers are not bothering with them.

I don't have a problem admitting I'm wrong, and you definitely sound like you know what you're talking about. If we're lucky, the author will have a read through your post and make a modification to the article.

Am I the only person who read this and thought "this is how people who buy non-nexus phones justify not getting the latest updates?"
