Basically it comes down to the crankshaft. In a 180 degree V8, opposing cylinders share crank throws but with a boxer 8, opposing cylinders have throws separated by 180 degrees so that the pistons become more like a mirror image, hence the name “boxer.”
Hyundai has brought out some lookers recently. This isn’t one of them. The proportions are okay, but it’s what’s on the surface that messes it up.
Actually, it was the only turbodiesel when it came out in ‘89. Ford already had the IDI 6.9 and 7.3 in the early 80s. GM had their Olds 5.7 and later the Detroit Diesel 6.2.
If you plan on modding a ZR2, why don’t you just buy a cheaper model?
Actually the Panamera and A6/A7 are different. One is RWD, the other FWD.
Because if everyone bought slightly used cars, they’d run out and we’d go back to new cars.
