yeah, even 150 years ago people would raise a flock of chickens by keeping the females as layers and eating the young males, or trading them to fertilise other people’s flocks. The layers got slow cooked into stew with dumplings (or whatever) when they grew too old and stopped laying.

Chickens back then probably wouldn’t have produced that many eggs, we’ve amped up their production through selective breeding. I'm not sure when that process started, but naturally they only ever produced 6-8 eggs a year. Their bodies can't cope with the intense egg production so they have much shorter life spans now.

I like your theory better. In early societies, it seems to make sense that raising them for their eggs was the most efficient allocation of resources. And the point that chickens and humans were sharing a similar diet and environment just sounds like old school husbandry where you toss the pigs and chickens into a

Excited to read DF article.
Reads DF laced work of art that embodies my everyday struggle as the wheels of time grind to the last stretch before hitting 30 and a new form of reality takes precedence.
Coincidentally I was playing DF last night and had these very thoughts, at the moment I was a bit stuck as to what to do

Jealous! I love this pic of him with his son:

True story, a friend of mine was seated next to 2 Chainz in first class on a flight about 3 years ago. My friend in aisle, 2C in window. Being an old like me he had never heard of Monsieur Chainz and didn’t hear him clearly when they introduced each other so spent the whole flight calling him Touche. As in, “Touche,

I think I backdoor bragged that I have a bf that looks kind of like a young Bernie Sanders, but ok

way to backdoor brag that you have a bf.

“Right now 50% of all the lactic acid is held by the top 1% of runners. I want to stop the 4 min and 5 minute milers from controlling all the lactic acid in this country.”

Buy your games when they’re one year old for pennies on the dollar, and fund your IRA with that $2000. It's a simple change that will affect your quality of life very little now, but will have a huge impact when you are elderly.

I think you’re looking at it wrong. All those people who have a stigma against video games: what are they doing instead? Probably watching sports or something pointless on TV; if they are reading, I doubt it’s anything substantial, anything that will change their lives materially. Everyone is doing something that’s

Sanders hasn’t released the tax plan because it would involve raising middle class tax rates, and I think he’s trying to get out in front of that issue by doing a round of press on how rising tax rates wouldn’t be so bad if people didn’t have to pay healthcare premiums. The problem is, for anyone with

Isn’t snatching defeat from the jaws of victory kinda her track record, though?

This week I started to see Hillary lose this thing. This is some BS to be fighting about. Even Trump (at one point) supported a single payer system.

There’s also the employer side. Yes private citizens will no longer pay premiums, but employers no longer would either as well, which is a huge number, a number which will have to be transferred to higher wages for a lot of people since wages are kept down by health care is considered a big part of compensation.

Maybe someone can enlighten me, but doesn’t a universal health care system work in pretty much every industrialized nation where it exists? You might be stuck with a doctor you don’t like, you might have to wait for a while to see a doctor, but basic care should be an improvement in 100% of cases compared to the US

That is a very good tweet. He has the receipts, as the youths would say.

a) i feel like i remember him saying already that yes, he would probably have to raise taxes slightly for everyone?
