Oh, he’s had some sort of “special relationship” with Toyota for a long time. In theory he provided the “design concept” that became the FJ Cruiser.

He’s right about people in general, not just golfers. They don’t think ahead while in line. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in a TSA security line and half the people walk up to the podium and only then start pulling out their ID and boarding pass. Or they don’t get out the credit card at the store until all

for close to 40k, I dunno….it almost needs to have ///M flares and an S50 swap, but then it wouldn’t have that delicious close to minty fresh stock this one has.

It’s why rich people drive Range Rovers, and wealthy people drive Land Cruisers. All the features, doesn’t break down.

I had a 4th Gen V8 Limited 4Runner. I now have a 2013 Land Cruiser. I test drove the GX460 three times.  I think the 200 Series Land Cruiser is head and shoulders above the 4Runner (4th and 5th Gen) and GX460.

I had an ‘03 V8 4Runner that I bought new and kept for 13 years. When it was time to replace it, I test drove the 5th Gen 4Runner three times. I wanted to like it. It is the right size for me. But I just hated that drivetrain.

Agreed.

Drive one and you’ll understand.

I like new Land Cruisers the same way you like this. Come at me.

They ditched a whole lot of what was interesting about the ‘Urban EV’ concept they showed earlier. No bench seat, no sexy wheels. They made it a 4 door, and ruined the airy greenhouse of the prototype with poorly hidden massive A and B pillars. They downsized the wheel and tire diameters to the point that it looks

If you think an X5 is ever going to be a less of a maintenance headache than a Cruiser, 5 years newer or not, crack is the least of your worries- you just went strait to Krokodil.

What’s the alternative? What other option does some poor schmuck have for creating some remote chance of retirement or at least moving down to part-time labor in old age? You can live in society and still recognize it’s shortcomings, even advocate for reform.  After all, in the words of Vonnegut, none of us ever asked

My dad’s a financial planner... *sigh* yes, he’s one of the few “good ones” in his industry who are the exception that proves the rule.

Nothing’s as hilarious as all these goldbugs who think society will collapse juuuust right so there is enough stability that they can be kingpins but not so bad they get killed for the radishes in their root cellar

There is a lot of butthurt hate for Ken Block. I always here that “he isnt even that good” or “his videos SUCK!” or “anyone could do that with his equipment”.

Just to clarify, or to be “technically correct”, all you can write off is the interest, as long as the RV has a place to sleep, eat, and poop.

I expect Chargers games in a brand-new $2B stadium will be at least mostly full, if half with opposing teams’ fans. The problem isn’t that they don’t think they’ll be able to get 50k people in the building once it’s done, it’s that they want many of these 50k to preemptively pony up *five figures* just for the right

And let’s not forget how bad the attendance numbers look once you account for the fact that Philip Rivers’ family is responsible for filling half of the seats.

How much more regulation is needed in your opinion? Why not just solve it by taking it to the extreme? Just make it a law that no one is allowed to make a loan to someone with a credit score of 500 or less that way nobody can be put into a situation like the first guy?

You’re a bad person.
