I’m glad I’m not the only one. We have one diva cat, who of course has one name. But our normal cat has a first and middle name. My husband (who didn’t have a say in the naming) thinks it’s a bizarre thing to do.

Animal Crossing. I never had an interest in these games before, but I watched some walk-through videos last night, and I fell asleep because it was so soothing. I’m totally getting it for mental health.

This is what my life looks like, only I have two kids doing that as well, and less politely. 

My four year old keeps telling me she wants to go the library for story time. Apparently it's not as exciting when I read and sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes." 

My daughter is 4, and no longer sticking everything in her mouth, and she loves water beads. I bought a small jug on Amazon for $6, and a few tablespoons soaked in water produced a shitload of squishy water beads. I got an hour of uninterrupted work done because she was using a little ladle to transfer them between…

It's the unsuccessful grocery runs that did me in. At the end of the day, I realized I had somehow collected five bottles of body wash. We have a house with decent storage, so it's not that big of a deal, but I have to wonder what I was thinking. Was it to overcompensate for not finding toilet paper or eggs? 

I got a copy of Persona 5 for Xmas, I guess now's the time to finally play it! I'm also finishing up my first game of Fire Emblem: Three Houses and recommend it. I want to play the other houses sometime, making it easily a +120 hour game. 

You can summon a horde of rats to attack your enemies, which was always amusing. 

I've never played an Animal Crossing game before, but I'm going to get a digital copy of this one. I've always been curious and a fan of Harvest Moon, which seems kinda similar? Also, my kids are home for at least two weeks, and this looks like a good game for both of them.
