THIS. Until Samantha herself says it was “just nerves” I’m not going to minimize her experience. As someone who has suffered from chronic PTSD for the past 30+ years, I immediately thought her puking had to do with what she was talking about, not where she was talking about it...

You realize I’m praising both these individuals ?

I keep hearing she was ‘overwhelmed by nerves,’ etc. I think it’s more likely that she’s dealing with PTSD- puking is a common symptom especially when reliving the event. It undermines the seriousness of the situation to say she’s just got charming ‘nerves’ or ‘stage fright.’
