“Nothing is easier or more pathetic than being a critic,” Trump said then, “because they’re people that can’t get the job done.”

This is more of a celebrity thing than a man/woman thing. Remember all those photos of Orlando Blood paddleboarding naked? Remember how Jez was all over those photos?
I hear you. We’ve got to make sure 2018 gets here first.
2020 isn’t coming fast enough.
Elected Republicans have move further and further to the right while Democrats haven’t moved much to the left. That’s one of the complaints from the Bernie wing — that Democrats haven’t moved left enough.

Or political parties on either side were more moderate, and disagreed with but didnt villify the other. Now the left are naive socialists and the right are ignorant rednecks
No, it worked because 30 years ago Republicans weren’t the fundamentalist Christian anti-government nutjobs that they are now. There’s a reason why my dad shifted from voting for Reagan/Bush/Dole to Gore/Kerry/Obama/Hillary, and that’s because he was disgusted by how the Republican party had changed.
It’s been almost a weekly occurrence for me - there’s always something that makes me look at him and either say “but her emails...” or “and that’s who you voted for.”
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Pop. But this line did earn a bit of side-eye from me:
re: Amy’s answer - I don’t understand the people who voted for Trump but are suddenly NOW seeing the error of their ways. There is absolutely nothing that Trump has done that couldn’t have been easily predicted based on how he conducted himself during the campaign. There has been no shift, no pivot. How is it that…
Those are actually the worst. It sounds like he didn’t even actually support Trump as a candidate or his policies, but just wanted to vote for Trump as an “F” you for Bernie not winning. So incredibly selfish.
If you told someone who had any sort of impact on the founding of this country....that in the year 2017 the coach of the San Antonio Spurs (a sport team) was 100x smarter than the guy who would be leading the country (lol leading), they would have probably said ‘fuck it then maybe this doesn’t matter’ and gone to the…
Not to discredit your sentiments, but I hope you realize how brazenly untrue this is. I assume you mean within the entertainment industry. And if so, just know that gloating and misdirection is alive and well within other forms of media, you just may be less invested in them.
I don’t understand how people keep conflating developers with the publishers. Your perceived wrongs are often being committed by marketers, rather than developers. That’s the publisher’s wrong-doing.
Of course you’re right that video game publishers do some shady things, be it stuffing their games with microtransactions, showing off generous E3 demos when they know the game won’t look even close to as good, or — worst of all — exploiting labor practices to get unpaid overtime out of all of their workers.
That’s the thing. You’re talking about marketing people. For every Peter Molyneux making ambitious promises to the press, there are 100 developers under him who not only have to deal with cleaning up the mess but also have to watch posters on Reddit and NeoGAF call them all liars.
I always hated that argument, and I don’t care if it is on disk or not. What I have always said is that if a developer says ok the game is going to have a, b and c when it comes out, but comes out with ONLY a and b, but then C comes later as DLC, then in that case yes you can bitch. However I can’t think I have seen…
Oh god, the “day 1 DLC” bullshit again.
Biggest example, gamers who think “DLC” automatically means the content was removed from the main game just to make a quick buck.
