Natural gas is going to have to be part of the solution, as will Nuclear. Solar and wind is just not economical or feasible for the entire country. Coal has got to go though. Natural gas has the potential to be a bridging resource that allows us to wean ourselves off of coal while developing other technologies.

1) TWS 'plot hole' doesn't count because it has nothing to do with the plot of TWS. It's a curiosity to the overall universe but in no way is it a "plot hole" within the story presented in TWS.

2) TWS one could easily be explained away for any number of reasons.

I'm going to commend the makers of this short for resisting the urge to pull a jump scare out of thin air in the final shot. It lingered long enough that I expected SOMETHING, and not getting anything was a welcome relief.
