THIS is exactly why I sent it to Rob.

I’d be happy to trade for a toilet seat in my possession believed to have once been used by Steven Spielberg. On a more factual note, a college friend of mine’s father ran the Ford TV and Movie marketing office in L.A. (out of the ABC entertainment center in Century City), supplying all Ford cars to Hollywood. She got

I’d go for it, but that booger on the front starboard side puts me right off!  A bridge too far.  ND.

I agree, 50% off seems the reasonable amount. But, why is it that I see so many ads for R title cars that are nowhere near 50 off? Are they delusional, pirates, hustlers......or is it not really happening to get a smokin’ deal for taking an R title?

I owned a 1987 560 SL and have driven quite a few R107s with the various engines: 450, 350, and 380. No question that the 380 was an underperforming travesty used to meet gas mileage needs. Given the chance to get any other engine than this I’d give this a hard pass. It needs work beyond fuel delivery, not to mention

I’m addicted to NPOND.  It’s my daily ritual.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Happy Holidays - and I look forward to more fun in 2022.

sounds like sewing machines racing.

THIS....is most likely why he’s sellin’.  Ignorant to the finer points of the health dept. requirements.

I’m voting “red.”  I like the idea of just giving a subtle update to this older, plain model unit.  You’ve inspired me to start oil analysis on my 2010 SRX that has 113,000.  I do these for the diesel engine on my sailboat, but not for any car I’ve owned.  And, I have never owned a car for over 115k mi to date.  It’s

NP for one reason only: as a local delivery vehicle for a wine, cheese, or bakery business - or some other quirky marketing need.  Some fancy graphics, and voila mon cher....une voiture de clown.

Udon noodle food truck.  Only a propane hot plate needed.

For an inspection, I’d have to hire an Army Ranger as wingman to visit that shit hole . ND.

It’s hard to believe those are wheel covers.  How nice is that?

I even think the paint job is probably second rate for a “custom” car. Under those lights and conditions it should gleam with crisp reflection.  Just another nail in a $40k coffin.

Infiniti Q60 coupe.  Stylish, sporty, fun, quality.....and not parked on every block.

glad you did the legwork on comps.  I calculated at $20k off that’s about a 28% depreciation over 6+ years.  Not enough for a NP that should be closer to 35-40% on a luxo car.

+1 with LeftField6.  Great writing of an interesting story and the event it surrounds, Victoria.  Let’s get more like this, for sure.

Deceived by Hollywood? Say it isn’t so.

Precisely.....I’m in the Seattle area.  Lake Stevens is very nice.  But it’s not Bill Gates neighborhood, remotely.

How often can you stumble upon a business opportunity for $10k. Got that errant brother-in-law that’s always pressing you for a job, or a reprobate kid you only hope will get gainfully employed? Voila! Wedding chauffeur.  Even better if you give it a Maaco re-spray in Celebration white.  Pending title, of course.
