I loved the snark, it was very tongue-in-cheek. But i also don’t have an issue with the EGS. I think the main reason this is getting a lot of heat is because the Ooblets guys had the balls to say ‘No, you entitled swines, we don’t owe you anything at the expense of our own livelihoods’.

I mean...it is nothing on the smug asshole communications of gamer pricks on literally any forum. I mean, have you ever hung out with gamers? Are they fun or just generally awful?

I mean, kind of on the flip side, the level of over the top furious fanboys is pretty insane. I’m almost celebrating how angry they are because in the eyes of myself - someone not invested in either party, I kind of love seeing people that seem like their lives are so small and sad this is what makes them wake up.

What are the legitimate reasons though? I’m genuinely curious about what the level of anger that we’re seeing is justified in the eyes of many. Why is this - of all things - causing so much heat? It’s a mother fucking storefront. Security issues? Ok. Fair enough. but what else?
