There’s a big difference between taking the engine up to the rev limiter, and actual over-revving which can only really be caused by downshifting.

I’m of the firm belief that AM radio is important and to be preserved. Not everyone has a cell phone, not everyone has access to reliable charging and reliable income to pay the monthly bill, but everyone needs access to information on severe weather or other disasters. Plus, as union-hardrolls pointed out, AM radio

Ehm… no, Nissan did not start the vertically elongated headlight design. It is much older than 2002. Also the 2002 Maxima looked like this:

Pretty sure one is a Cherokee and the other a Liberty 2 totally different models.

As the frequency and intensity of natural disasters continues to increase due to human-caused climate change, drastic measures like Amsterdam’s zero-emission waterway regulations make more and more sense. As unfortunate as it is to know this may be the last time we will see a gaggle of adorable Amphicars putting

Yep, my son said they are replacing front tires on some about every 1,500 miles - sometimes less. He also mentioned the brakes and that bottom seat cushions are kept in stock because they are replaced so often and those are $650 each.

They just don’t have the infrastructure to do it at these ancient post offices.”

My sincerest apologies, Nytmare. I just realized you were saying the Metris isn’t set up for curbside delivery. We have commercial off the shelf mail trucks here to. Mostly whatever the Ram full size vans are called. They’re a stopgap because the LLVs are going down, sometimes in flames. Our mail carriers deliver on

You have no idea what you’re talking about. What do you mean by not suitable for curbside mailbox delivery? They’re specifically designed for curbside mailbox delivery. They’re right hand drive. The seat is low. The driver’s window is large and the belt line is low. All to facilitate curbside delivery. Just look at

Think of these as the automotive equivalent of Crocs, ugly but comfortable.  Considering what a misery box an LLV is in summer I hope they are prioritizing deployment to areas with the worst humidity.

Serious question: what happened to car sales in the past 20 years or so? I just looked up the stats, and even the Neon sold more than 100K units every single year it was available, and more than 200K units in some years. Now it seems like a car that sells 20K units a year is considered a success.

Honestly probably the only one is a bro dozer

Diesel pickup are cool and have their place, but these assholes rolling coal in the faces of pedestrians and cyclists can fuck off.

My job is less than a mile from Porsche’s US HQ in Atlanta, so i get to see A LOT of eye candy on a regular basis.

The owner of the car wasn’t driving, or did you skip over that part in your rage?

It’s an identifier, just like your height, weight and hair color.

Not sure what you’re smoking, but both of these look pretty damn good.

I’ve long felt that lightly used cars are for suckers. They are basically the same price as new, but with 20k miles on them.

Narrator: the K4 was not, in fact, cooler looking than a corolla or a civic

A small 2.4L V6 that made peak power at 7600 RPMs ? It probably made all of about 2 lbs-ft of torque below 5000 RPM and it probably did feel like starting out in 3rd gear until it came on the cam.
