Exactly this, a Kia just does not hold its quality or design in the interior or the exterior. I am unfortunately in the market right now, and buying new is the smarter move IMO. So while Kias do look and feel and maybe drive great initially, it's all the little things that 4-5 yrs down the road you are going to notice

My 8 yr old self was strangely obsessed with watching this on HBO every single time it came on in 1981ish. Was like heroin to me. Also dug some fantasy movie with Jack Palance and some other movie with Pia Zadora in a bathtub. Ahhhh., the good ol days.

Ahem,..what about USPS??  They are totally union, every last worker I believe.

Exactly, at some point these jobs are going to get a steep pay bump.  I don't see any other solution.  The tipping point has come and shit's hitting the fan, but it's OK if the rich have to reach into their tight ass pockets for once.  Seriously.

Sold it for spite. Like Seinfeld did in that one episode with that jacket he bought.  Checks out I guess, spite is f*king strong yo.

I wouldn't have known it was different/new if I wasn't told so...lol.  Very British of them.

Where did you get those Mazda3 stats,....lol. "Can be fitted with cruise control" WTF. $20k?

Everytime I see black wheels on any vehicle I immediately imagine there is paint coming off around the edges and in the middle.  They look ghetto, period

Very nice, that's not a original color is it though?  If not it looks sweet.

Being very quiet and comfortable in the cabin is huge to me.  As I get older having something with a combination of low NVH, good driving attributes, and an engine that doesn't fall on its face have become my favorite features.  Call me crazy I guess. Only minimal exhaust note needed.

Meh, if that’s what he wants I think it’s cool. I’d buy a new Q50 without a second thought. Name another sedan better at $40-$44K?  BTW I couldn't care less about a "modern" infotainment system, lol.

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Sport whatever blah etc liked the Aztek.

This fellow is even hiding his face in embarrassment.

I understand, but where I live (Midwest) it’s gonna be that at least, maybe ten. As far as overlanding/truck off-roading goes it can happen anywhere I suppose but they are pretty conservative about it here. Frankly it’s frowned upon. Now in the West I know it's a much bigger thing.

Is this boring or just me.  I'm serious too.  This just seems to be for the fringe of the fringe.  In the Midwest there is just very little interest in overlanding, electric, etc.  Just not a ton of infrastructure or land set up to justify it IMO.

Are you sure this thing is happening?  Seems like a big swing to me.

I also like the CX-30 particularly the AWD Turbo.  It is pricy though for such a relatively smallish vehicle.  Good thing I don't really need much room.  I wonder how it handles.

Idk about anyone else but I get a cringy Kyle Rittenhouse-y vibe from this entire story. NOT good.

Yep...if there are no comments I would not come here.  I already feel it's a lesser space now, most people come here for the community don't they.  I mean at the G/O family it is a lot of opinions.  The comments (and everything that came with it) balanced out the bs.  Comments will be disabled at some point, they look

I starred you by the way, lol.  This is absolutely ass.  I can't believe the senior writers at the very least are not raising hell about this.  I already do not come here as much.  Jalopnik is 50% comments, most of the time the community knows more or has more interesting takes.  They are still there, but it
