I think the monetary ($7k?) part is goofy. But what they may be getting at without really having a better idea is that some of these families have members driving Corvettes and Chargers and Silverados (newer ones) but live in Habitat for Humanity houses along with getting $800 a month for food. It is actually pretty

It has a Really Big screen so....it’ll sell. Americans like to have big screens. Even though we drive the vehicle, not sit in it to enjoy the large screen.  How many big screens do we need as a society?  I'm not entirely sure.

Welp, I definitely wouldn't have recommended a blah-meh Tuscon.  Oh Lord the humanity.

“The Chrysler 200 I Bought A Few Months Ago Already Needs To Be Replaced”

I know one thing,....MY ass definitely would be eyeing that thing up as I'm approaching and NO way in hell am I going faster than 10mph, if that.

Tacked on info screen- Yuck

My Guess = They talked or zoomed or whatever with FORD about whether the comments should be left on not knowing what kind of cynical readers we really are here.  FORD exec said "Yeah, why not, we'll focus group the positive/negative reactions".  They chose unwisely.

V-Max, V-Max, V-Max.  Yeah I like them.

Are you sure about this?

Aren't Hyundai's notorious for having inefficient engines?  I think this is a thing.

Jason said that the Atkinson cycle is good for hybrids....but then never really got into why exactly that is.  Maybe I missed it.  Was legit curious.

This is very unimportant, but am I the only one who dislikes the little sitting human in Hvac controls on cars? I remember the Hyundai Sonata having one that was particularly annoying.

Of course the awesome version didn’t make it to production. That thing is killer, like a sleek modern Mad Max esque sports coupe for your post-apocalyptic needs.  Or something.

Donks were alright, not my bag, but here’s the thing - AT LEAST you could see out the MFers!  These squatters would need some jerry-rigged seating for safe visibility, would they not?

ALL SUV LINEUP = Jalopnik Swear Word.

This whole scenario didn’t surprise me, these cars looked and drove like crap within a few years off the lot. Yet I still stare at every single old LeBaron I might currently see in hopes that it is a M-TC and not a run of the mill malaisy shit-box.

Much better!

I find it hard to believe they wouldn’t sell a ton of these as single cab fleet vehicles or just to whomever for multipurpose vehicles for customization. A simple 2wd or 4wd minimal frills truck that's not jacked up or has fancy paint.

I had trouble finding a dam Pic of a 2021, like looking for Loch Ness or some shit.

That may be, but the eyes don't lie.
