Well done, I don't remember them being that crazy back then.  In the states I'm not sure what a comparative price in 83' would be.

Well they aren’t UPS though, I would think driving ability and comfort/safety of curbside delivery should be paramount over huge packages which isn’t the postal services forte anyway.

Yes, it has to be RWD I would think. It’d actually be better for it’s intended use and I believe in inclement weather as well - as long as it has tires that can handle a bit of snow

Yes this,...the road is PRISTINE. You’d be hard pressed to get in a fender bender let alone roll a brand new super safe SUV and F it and yourself up that badly!  UNREAL

I can't believe I'm asking but FWD or RWD?

This price cannot be correct, maybe Australia $?

Can we stop the whole "this might be the last blah V (x) engine" stuff.  I know Ford is big daddy now and is pushing its EV status HARD, but it makes a lot of us sad AF to see ICE cars go bye bye.

Aaron is definitely not the type to bang random groupies. I live in GB and never have heard anything, not that he couldn’t keep it quiet. But it’s a small city, and I also highly doubt he’d be into strangers, he’s totally different than any other QBs- I promise you that. I think they make a good pair.

Ha,...this I knew, only because my neighbor drove us to the golf course in his manual equipped one.  I was surprised at the time, let me tell ya.

I always liked these Red Lines, they were a good bit different at the time. This was before the roads were a sea of CUVS & SUVS of course.

All I hope is in the end it actually looks good as well as drives decent. Unfortunately I have my doubts. Very ambitious, I mean if it is gonna be a rusty POS that moves, I'd pass.  BUT with Ford money it should be done well.  Good Lord, I can't imagine the man-hours Mr Tracy is in store for.

Hmmm, interesting. I had a set of Eagle RS-As on my Infiniti that were the OEM tires. I actually thought they were great, and they are definitely placed at a premium price. My next set will probably be Bridgestone, Cont's, or Michelins though.

Question...In the lower income areas in your nearest city etc, do the poors and inner city dwellers always have winter tires or is it rarely ever enforced. I can’t imagine they do, unless most folks ride on winters all year.

I may be wrong on Goodyears being one of the best tire brands, but not on all-seasons being perfectly acceptable. I’ve lived in WI for many years and have driven on run of the mill tires when I was a penniless miser. If you mind your Ps and Qs as well as give yourself some room between vehicles you’ll be just fine.

Two points - 1. All-Seasons are fine in northern winters if you have some semblance of driving ability 2. I think Goodyears are in the top tier, at least I thought they were.

Is it possible for a car to look really nice and really shady all at once?  Of course it is and this is that vehicle.

I essentially agree, I sort of like this thing as far as CUVs go, the interior looks like a nice place and the integrated NAV screen is IMO superior to a tack on tablet.

Fuckn great comment

I'm sure it is the norm, ya wanna know why....Dakotas, that's why.  Two of the most conservative states in the country.
