Yup, that one stayed with me too. Best segment of that movie.

No problem! I should’ve been more clear. I admit I was kinda salty at the idea we were ever that much in charge,” but I have no problem with you or anything you said. 😁

Sorry, I was riffing off your comment, I didn’t mean to argue with you. I probably should have made that more clear.

Exactly when was Gen X *ever* in charge? The Boomers never stepped aside for us. We were told “work hard, go to school, and you’re sure to succeed,” only to find that a lie... sound familiar? We did what we could, but no single generation can wave a magic wand and create a utopia.

As one of her fellow constituents, I say... yup. She may not always be perfect, but I appreciate her fighting Marathon over air quality, and her other battles for the neighborhoods. (I also remember her going door to door as a state rep, and how she remembered talking to my mother after I mentioned she’d passed away.)

I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that part. So the Metamucil won’t help.

I love it!!! This is excellent Kinja.

*Please* talk to your vet first, but you might want to consider giving your pet a fiber supplement. My poor dog had surgery for a perineal hernia, and I was told to mix a teaspoon of Metamucil (or off-brand equivalent) into his wet food to keep him comfortably regular. It worked like a charm. I don’t know if that will

I’d be a little heartbroken if I found out Michael Hurst was a bad guy. I liked Iolaus much better than Hercules.

Exactly. An artist’s work is public, and open for discussion. Their personal life is private, and belongs only to them. They can share as much, or as little, of it with us as they choose. The assumption that actors, singers, etc. somehow owe us every detail of their lives is wrong. In my opinion, that question is

Okay, maybe just butt-white? 😃

As a baby-butt-white born-and-raised Detroiter who proudly voted Rashida Tlaib for the state legislature as well as for Congressional Rep., I’d like to suggest Weisman can go fuck *himself* with the proverbial rusty chainsaw.

Don’t worry.

I had the same problem on my phone, but I found a solution. Take a look at the browser’s settings and see if it’s blocking anti-tracking cookies. (In my browser it was in the Privacy and Security sub-menu.) If you turn that option OFF, Kinja should (hopefully) start working again.

I'm very sorry. I lost my 74-year-old father to cancer three weeks ago. I've got no advice, I can't think of anything to say to make it better... I hope that his remaining time is as painless as possible. I wish you and your family the strength to endure. I wish you all love and peace.

She can report a man with his description, but unless she got his name or saw his license plate number, she can’t identify exactly who did it. That doesn’t give the police a lot to go on. (Though they could check with DoorDash, but it would take time to get a response from the company.)

I agree, it took *forever* to get to where it wanted to go... and it wasn’t that great. I enjoyed the series more than the books, though, and the actress playing Amy was fantastic. So I probably would have tuned in for Season 2... but I'm not broken-hearted over its cancellation.

Yes, please! I *loved* those Lucifer recaps, they got me hooked on the AVClub!
