He intentionally threw at someone. Hitting someone in the head is the worst outcome, but it is not the only outcome that leads to injury. That shit needs to be snuffed out.

Aren’t pitcher suspensions always weird anyway? If a reliever rarely ever pitches 3 games in a row, isn’t this really a 2 game suspension?

They absolutely are the right priorities. From every indication I can see, what Marsinick did was an accident. During the course of a split second in a fast moving play he made a bad decision.

I think MLB is sending a message that they already suspended Marasnick so there was absolutely no excuse for the retaliation and they want it to stop now. In that way, it is appropriate. It isn’t just for hitting him. They are opposing the idea of letting the players take care of it on the field since when they do,

I mean you’re being sarcastic. But your last sentence is 100% accurate.

A reckless beaning is worse than trucking a catcher, given the circumstances.

He’s a starter though, so he’s ‘off’ the next four games anyway. Yes, he won’t get paid those three games, but his absence won’t affect the lineup.

I say we incentivize throws at the head. He’s got a helmet to protect his brain. And he’s got that stick for defending from the onslaught of projectiles. You bean a batter in the head, you get a bonus point on the board. You can even add up to two extra pitchers if you want to throw a few balls at once. But then the

new rule:

He gave them a couple rolls of paper towel to soak up all the rain water, what more do they want?!

Nah, he’ll just say that it proves he was right about Mexicans being rapists and ignore everybody who goes:

I await Trump’s mental gymnastics (his preferred and likely only form of exercise) to defend a maligned peer-in-misogyny, almost certainly referring to Rosselló as 1) A Good Guy 2) A Victim 3) Foreign.

You basically sent up the Sconnie Bat Signal when you put Jaha out there. I’d like to submit Rob Deer for the list.

Me trying to figure out who is the bigger tool in this argument...

Let’s remember some tools:

Dan Plesac is every team’s remember that guy guy.

Britt McHenry is a piece of shit.

Y’all didn’t know? Huh. Am an Old.

My reactions to this post, in order:

“Of course I’ve always known it was Robert Redford. How could you NOT know?”

“Wait, how old is the author of this post?”

“Wait... probably a lot of folks reading this who don’t know. But probably just a handful...”

“No, most folks reading this probably don’t know either.”

“I’m old.”

This is just like when I noticed that “Sensible Chuckle” meme or whatever is actually playing backwards.
