That chrome strip draws the eye but then it doesn’t take you anywhere, like an on-ramp to a highway that never got built. Either wrap it up around the door frame or take it all the way to the back. It’s no better than stuck on JC Whitney crap in its current state.

True this. My 2015 TDI S was great right up until I gave it back to them.

I would still get a GTI, but I’m sad the base gas Golfs are gone. They were well appointed cars and came with a lot of standard features that other cars in that class didn’t.

I spend the next 3 months trying to get the seat back in the right position.

I honestly don’t think it’s a big deal to have a bunch of brands. I think it makes more sense for those brands to only have a couple models that represent the brand image, rather than trying to make a brand everything to everyone.

Merge Dodge and RAM back together if you need to, but there’s no reason you can’t keep…

Boy, I mean, awful cars like this are pretty much my jam. But even I’m hitting No Dice here. I’d give him $800 for it (if there isn’t secretly more rust than we can see in the photos) and then immediately swap a 5.0 in. That’s just about the only thing this late-malaise mutant is good for.

Yeah, I really dig that. Definitely better than just a solid black or gray plastic cladding.
