Actually, I think you’re the one missing the point. If insurance companies don’t care about individuals then why offer the little data collection devices to give discounts on an individual basis? I’m not encouraging this, the insurance companies are. How you drive is no longer being dictated by what is going on…
This isn’t how it works yet. The insurance company obviously doesn’t want to have to ever pay out for you as a driver, but they do like finding new ways to make money. Right now they’re just trying to incentivize their customers to drive more safely because they want to remove “accident history” as the only predictor…
