They beef up the starters to accommodate the added use, so the starter shouldn’t be too much of a concern. I really don’t think it’s bad for the car in any way. I just find it offputting if it’s executed badly.

Mmmm no. I just think it’s an annoying gimmick. A half measure where better engineering could provide a better solution.

I haven’t driven a Ford with it but Chevy’s execution is pretty bad.

Any car design that doesn't account for a front license plate holder being screwed onto it by the dealer is actually a bad car design. 

I would totally buy Jalopzine. Even if it was just 2-4 issues a year, it would be a way to do some content that doesn’t fit the online kinja format.

My issue of Sedan Zine #1 just showed up today, so I guess it’s time for me to go all in on car zines in 2020.

Jalopnik should do a car zine feature. There have to be a lot of zines out there that could use a signal boost.

I always felt bad for my little brother and his luck with rc cars. Without fail his were the ones that ended up broken. I remember that before the XRC/Ricochet he had a buggy style car and it ended up broken after crashing into a Radio Shack 4x4 that I had. That 4x4 still works too! The buggy...more tears lol
