The last part of Malcolm's mom's final speech is important too as Malcolm still doesn't believe what she's saying and she says something like, "You tell me you can't do it". And he's speechless.

Jimmy's curious joy about the tree-house was adorable.

It was pretty interesting/sweet/telling that Jimmy asked "What's going on with you?" to Gretchen at the end instead of "What's wrong with you?".

I loved this episode. It really was the best Simpsons episode in a long time. Homer and Lisa stories are usually quite good.
