I have PM'd you, because this is getting off-topic.

@truthtellah: Even if it was designed in ignorance of the history, it was (perhaps unintentionally, I wouldn't know) racially charged. The design change was in no way not a good thing. Racism and concepts of race do not exist in a vacuum.

@truthtellah: It wasn't just the tint of the skin—it was the comically, grotesquely huge lips, something that historically is very tied to very racist, demeaning art forms and attitudes.

@Milo Corkey: Gah, you got me excited for a sec. It's coming back the Monday after, September 20th (according to wikipedia).

The most interesting thing I've read about the Apple TV today is Roger Ebert's tweet earlier today (reproduced below):

@despsuno: And speaking of, how awesome was last night's episode? Pretty darn awesome. My cheeks hurt from smiling the whole time, which given the subject matter this week was a little odd, but I can't help it. Such a joy to watch.

White Collar, Tuesday, 9/8c, on USA. You heard it here, folks. I mean, Psych gets a shout-out every week. Where's the White Collar love?

@lance11con: Maybe the guy who did the logo is just a secret fan, then :)

Does anyone else think the Event could be a tie-in with V? The way the second E in the word "event" is turned around to "point" at the letter V makes me think it's a possibility.

@houser: Re: your first paragraph. I have no idea, I've never read it. I was responding to mutant.song001's query.

@mutant.song001: Because any non-white living in the Western world has a life that, like it or not, is strongly affected by their ethnicity. I myself am an Asian-American, and my "color" is never completely irrelevant to my life.

@sensitivitycop: Assange has also been actually somewhat unwilling to be in the public eye. Wikileaks has been around for a very long time—Assange has only been in the mainstream press for a couple of months.

Olive, as Ned: That was a funny joke about the witch's bosom, Olive.

@Michael Lee: Going by my experience, it isn't the problem that gets me swearing. It's the documentation.

@drmrw: Just a pencil? Man, I'm so sorry.

@cait98: "Vatooting"? Is that like the hip word for "queef"?

Britney is not alone. Dora the Explorer also does some freaky Ls. You never see her tongue until she says anything with an L and then up it pops.

Don't forget, though, that your privacy settings may be reset the next time facebook "updates" if you customize your privacy settings to anything other than "Everyone", "Friends of Friends", or "Friends Only".

@morninggloria: Does anyone ever take you up on it? Because that would be awesome.
