As I said in an earlier comment, they could have walked in and requested a multi-tiered cake for no reason whatsoever and the bakers would have been too happy to accommodate them. I realize that this comparison isn’t perfect, because it isn’t based on religious beliefs, but there were many restaurants in this country who refused to serve people of color until there was enough pressure placed on them. One way to place pressure on these businesses is to sue them.

I get that there needed to be some kind of punishment, but $135000? That’s just ridiculous and only adds fuel to the bigots who are using them as icons. And who gets all that money?

That’s weird and a little creepy. I think the fact that the game was found on the deep web lends something to the disturbing quality of the gameplay itself. I’m not really a fan of the maze games, though. They’re more tiring to me than scary. lol

The humor with Marceline is that, even after being around for literally a thousand years, she still has that teenage angst and naivete. It doesn’t always work, and she gets a lot more praise than I think she deserves, but when it does work it can be both funny and very humanizing as well.

I’m a southern guy and I’d say Tree Trunks is probably the most realistic character on the show.

I’m completly in love in Marceline, especially in episodes with her and Princess Bubbelgum, they just compensate eachother so well. And a lot of the shows more interesting developments has been her releationship with the Ice king. I don’t really consider her edgy sense she one of the more emotional and down to earth…

Her relationship to the Ice King cemented me as a fan of hers.

That’s sort of what I love about Princess Bubblegum. She’s a genius, but a dangerous one. She generally tries to do good, but it’s how she goes about doing so that can potentially be a huge mess. It makes her fascinating to observe.

But she sings so well D:

I think she just shows the depth of character creation for the series. She feels like the type of character you see and cringe about. Like you don’t know if she’s going to make the episode good or bad. Ther are a few other like that - like Cinnamon Bun and N.E.P.T.R. Pendleton Ward is just good at making those…
