For me in North County San Diego it’s 50/50. A lot of places conveniently don’t mention that the higher ABV or limited edition beers are in a small glass despite being 1-3 dollars more than a normal pint. I stop going to bars that I find do this, but it only takes once to burn you if you’re nitpicky like me.

Holy buzzwords batman! You forgot cishet racist Christian male though, 3/10 see me after class.

I find this thread really amusing because over on Gawker there’s an article with a letter from a two time murderer, and the comments there are gushing about how the man is being treated too harshly. Now this guy points out a very valid objection to arbitrary fines, and everybody loses it. Gawker and its sub blogs are

I wonder how long ago we reached the “it’s cool to hate on widely beloved and well received games” level of society.

Obviously that’s the base cause, but if they aren’t aware that something they put in their body daily is “too much” then how can they cut back? People need to be informed in order to curtail their intake.

True, I did say all. However, my meaning was all types of alcoholic beverages (rather than just beer), not literally every single brand needs it. I think things like bitters, small batch items, seasonal ales from small manufacturers and the like could be reasonably exempt, or even just give a standard nutritional

“though if we look at the native americans that was just one big war crime.”

I second that! Why in the world wouldn’t they just put the prices where everyone can see?

“you’re technically drinking poison”

How is this appropriation? It felt much more like appreciation to me rather than “hahaha look, we dressed her up like an injun!” IMO people are blowing this out of proportion and it’s not really worth the hubbub.

What war crimes has the U.S. denied, and what events have they censored nationally? I live here and I haven’t seen any of that.

OR OR OR they can do whatever they want instead of self censoring something as meaningless as an unlockable player skin?

I hope so too. Devs have been so inundated with the hardcore PC people’s complaints that they forget that virtually none of their player base (i.e. the customers) care at all. The problematic skins aren’t even cultural appropriations, they’re just nice homage to long standing and proud cultures.

Then don’t buy the game? Nobody is making you play.

“Well, if the player base doesn’t cry about it too much, we’ll keep doing things like that”

Every culture is a costume. Every culture is a joke. Part of a globalized, integrated society is not flipping out when somebody is a little insensitive. Although interestingly, the only people I see flip out over these “highly insensitive” costumes are pretty much only white people that aren’t affected at all.

Even Winston is handsome for a gorilla.

As one of the rare people who didn’t like Evangelion at all, I really appreciate that Pacific Rim wasn’t just a live action adaptation.

Your opinion is wrong and you should be ashamed to hold it.

More money = fewer applicable laws. The craft brewers made the mistake of not being massive corporations.
