Do you weightlift or have a manual labor job? 40-70 grams of protein daily is probably enough if you’re sedentary or do light cardio a few times a week (or are very small), but if you’re trying to gain muscle or seriously active then you WILL need more protein than that. Muscle takes a lot of energy and material to

I wouldn’t call 1-2 grams of protein per 100 calories in a potato “a lot”. Unless you’re eating processed plant proteins like seitan or tofu, then the only plant sources of protein that come anywhere meats in terms of protein to calorie ratios are lentils. And I’m not sure about you, but eating 150 grams of protein

Eat meat (about a fist sized portion) with every meal if you exercise, and eat it once a day if you don’t exercise. There, you’re probably getting sufficient protein now, no need for muss or fuss.

You know, that’s actually a really good point. I guess I was thinking of people like me that may have been sedentary/lightly active, but were otherwise proportional and healthy without any serious imbalances.

If you start with just the bar on every exercise like you’re supposed to, then there is no risk of injury and your form will develop fine. That’s where the beginner part comes in. If somebody follows the program wrong because they’re a dingus, then that’s the person’s own dumbass fault, because the instructions are

They don’t at all, which is a big reason I hate WoW. Not only is the game itself terribad and ruined all the Warcraft lore it possibly could until it’s just a pulpy mess of it’s former self, but it’s become such an easy cash cow for Blizzard that the RTS is basically dead. I am just glad they haven’t got the bright

I love StarCraft and would much prefer a movie of that, but I still am interested in this movie despite hating WoW. I mean, WoW is crap, looks terrible in game, and ruined one of my favorite RTS game series ever, but the movie taken on its own merits looks neat. I’ll probably pirate it at least.

Ah, I see where you’re coming from now. My bad for coming off a little pointed, I just hate the idea that women can’t lift weights like men can. I guess things like Bodybuilding.com can be a little intimidating if you don’t know anything about weightlifting!

Stronglifts was made with beginners in mind, and is undoubtedly a beginner program. The only program I can think of that could be easier for a beginner to get would be Starting Strength with the cleans replaced with rows. An intermediate or advanced program would be an upper/lower split or a PPL program. If you start

I disagree sharply with you that women need a special training program different from men. While women can only gain muscle at about a quarter the speed as men and have a much lower natural limit of the lean mass they can gain, the way their bodies work are identical to men’s in terms of training. Promoting otherwise,

This is a lot of hate for somebody on an American website using American speaking patterns. You should try meditating or something.

I have nothing to add, I just wanted to say that this was a great post.

The inefficient car clause would screw me. The only used car I could afford was a 1993 Subaru Legacy that sucks gas at an incredible 10 miles per gallon in town. I would love a 50 mpg little hybrid car, but I can’t afford that kind of upfront cost. Like you said below, all that would do is punish me for being too poor

Except fueling my car takes two minutes tops, and charging a car would take hours. Unless they did some sort of propane tank esque system where you gave them your empty battery and they popped in a fresh, fully charged one in minutes, that wouldn’t ever work.

Well aren’t you probably raided every time because they know where you live now?

I can’t wait either. It’s been a long time coming.

I’m admittedly not a very big football fan, but as a San Diego resident, the Chargers leaving seems like an incredibly stupid move. They have a downright fanatical fanbase here that adores them and watches or attends their games every time they play. The news fawn over them, people have bolts on literally everything,

I was just pulling your leg mostly. I feel there are enough decent exclusives and benefits to justify different consoles, but I can see why you would be of a different mind. Basically the only reason I chose the Xbone was for the Master Chief collection.

PC master race though, right?
