Using just gun crime is disingenuous. Use overall homicide and suicide rates and maybe you would have a point.

We’re not though. Almost all of the gun violence is gang related, not spread throughout society. These efforts would be far better spent curtailing the causes of gang membership than trying to take people’s guns that they hardly even use.
