I think that once somebody looks visibly not full blooded black, they should be referred to as mixed race. It’s especially stupid to call someone “black” when they have more white in them than black, and aren’t even dark skinned, like myself. Calling me black would be silly, but so would calling me white.

Just like the cops have color swatches for determining whether you’re dark enough to pull over or not, people like Kara have the same swatches to determine if you’re dark enough to not be racist. Just make sure you’re not the wrong color and pick your poison!

As a mixed race man, I am inclined to agree, she looks like a white lady with a wig on. However, I have thought this in the past with people I found were undoubtedly mixed race, so basing your thoughts and judgements off of “well I don’t think you’re black enough” is a pretty shitty thing to do.
