Watching from vulture row during air ops never got old for me.

If if he did it doesn't address the firehose issue. Unless you count the manual soda strawing in response to a specific event by a specific user.

    Netcentric Warfare 2.0...LOL that's so 2000's.

I was thinking that too but the impact of the video will be worth it if it motivates the US to take greater action beyond airstrikes. We can generate quite a bit of airlift capacity and boots on the ground to provide temporary security.

"Osama's Death By A Thousand Cuts doctrine...$750-1000 Warhead, fired out of a like priced launcher, into a 6-7 Million Dollar tank(depending on TUSK add-ons and this system) with Soldiers making(in the War Zone, between 50-100K)- by a guy with no education and no salary. Anyone paying attention yet"

Being an old guy I really enjoyed that movie.

"It's a function of distance to target. The closer the missile approach, the lower the required response time. A Carrier battle group could probably take 100 guided missiles launched from several miles away and destroy them before they reach their target."

Unless you are one of the three.

I'm all for off the shelf and commonality with civilian platforms but whenever someone says that integration is easy I refer back to the M247 Sgt. York.

"Fighter mafia, man. Some dudes are really amazing and believe in the whole team concept, and then you got dudes who think that they can win a war from the cockpit. You see this more with the USAF dudes than the other services."

"When you can point to one single incident of a drone being hacked or one of our defense department satellites being shot down then I will listen to you. But you can't."

I get the impression you didn't quite get the answer you were looking for in #10 and perhaps even #12. UAVs may be everywhere but UCAVs haven't tested in battle against a significant opponent. How well they can operate in a GPS and data link denied shooting environment remains to be seen.
