Devs know that "paying for an edge" is not the way to go, I'm confident SOE will keep the microtrans to strictly cosmetic upgrades. They'll probably also go with a rotation system for new gear much like how Riot does with LoL's champions + in-game currency for permanent unlocks earned by completing quests.

Not trolling, but could you please explain to me how FS is "redefining how great gaming can be"? I haven't played Demon's Souls, but everything I have heard is simply that the game is hard. Hard = good these days?
