We (I) need a buying guide to lifts. Total lift noob over here but I’m in the market.

WAIT what YEAR of Golf R? 2017's have a 3 year factory warranty, while 2018's have a 6 year factory warranty, upgraded clutch, and digital cockpit.

Just don’t use it in a BMW E46. System will keep functioning, but your washer fluid sensor light will now be permanently on. It fouls the sensor.

Great concept, however this: “...pay a significant amount of money.”

Same here. I was able to “sign in” using a work around - I went to the email they sent that thanked me for signing up for the Official F1 ticket store, and click on the “my account” link in the email. Brought me to their site already signed in. Maybe you have a similar sign up email with a working link that’ll do the

That’s what’s great about some streaming services - you can just watch the race whenever you want via the streaming provider DVR that’s typically included (Hulu TV, youtube TV, ps vue, etc.) regardless of ESPN’s replay policy.

I’m the owner of a black ‘92 VR4 for 14 years so far, currently with a blown rear diff; a very uncommon issue. Seized on the highway. No it wasn’t the prone-to-fail transfer case. I’ll fix it someday, have a spare differential; problem is you need to drop the whole rear end because the power steering pump for the rear

I just booked my place up the road from Leadfoot Ranch in Whitianga for a few nights - just a couple weeks AFTER this. If only I knew a month earlier, I could’ve reversed the whole itinerary and started my trip here instead of down South! Doesn’t look like there’s much going on at the ranch other times of the year

*Standing slow clap* Well done, flawless execution, spot on, 10/10.

Ahh yes, finally a pants sale for grandfathers and middle school boys that don’t know any better. The model photos didn’t even try to make it look like they fit half way decent. Big box mall store pants. Never again.

I have no cable subscription, and I pay for Playstation Vue to get access to NBCSN that streams the race. PS Vue even DVR’s it for me after adding it to “my shows”. It’s great.

COTD? I’ve been known to pull off to the side before stopping, checking over my shoulder before making sudden turns... WHILE WALKING, and it irritates me to no end when someone stops short in front of you because who knows why. We’re trying to get places! It’s a matter of being considerate.

Neutral: we here are Jalops, so I’m assuming most of this crowd would catch it.

I’m assuming that $8 is for 2-3 people, not just one person? You can do some real damage on the value menu with $8.

Growing up my father had an orange AMX that was kept in the basement garage bay. He would only start it up a couple times a year on nice sunny days. Somehow it always fired right up on the first try.

If it’s a BMW - particularly an E46, zero range means ZERO. I thought there would be some sort of reserve after that, and I was very wrong. That thing was suprisingly accurate in my case.

In my opinion - the new Dell XPS is the way to go if you want something low profile and good looking. ~$1900 in the 15" trim. It’s thin, light weight and doesn’t look ridiculous. I did a lot of work comparing top gaming laptops and settled on the XPS, couldn’t be happier. Doesn’t get too hot or loud, either.

Some of us know SBC to mean Spun Bearing Club, that made the context of this article a little confusing when it went on to talk about rods.

Isn’t that only in the non-turbo engines, and didn’t the head gasket issues (originally due to biodegradable material) get resolved after model year 2010 on the 2.5L engines? That was my understanding. I didn’t think they had any issues with head gaskets anymore, but I’m not fully up to speed on the suby engine lineup.

I almost bought a VR6 Corrado as my own first car (i.e. a car that wasn’t in my parent’s name). Very nearly happened, until I spotted a 3000gt VR4 for the same price.
