I'd say 3DS is my favorite system. PC is my go to gaming choice but the 3DS also gives me so much enjoyment and portability.

Actually the purple you see is mostly wash. I used a very light (almost pink) purple and washed it until it was the shade of purple that I wanted. Also this is pre-blue wash but I have used that on his blue bits as well.

It depends on the range of mini and paint, but just like any art it takes practice to be good at. This is just my current level with only recently getting back into the hobby after like a 2 year break.
