I did not know that, but it makes sense. Thanks for the heads up!

This... is not news.

Haha! Love. I'll have to try this, being of the pear-shaped variety myself. (But no lie, my ass is bangin'.)

Here's the thing, ya'll: this woman looks fabulous in a bikini. I'm 5'5", 140 lbs, size 8, and seeing myself in a bikini, I feel like I look 1/2 a fabulously fucking awesome as she does. Confidence has A LOT to do with it. Instead of striving for an "ideal" weight, how about we strive for an ideal mindset, instead?

"She's lost 20 lbs already! 8 or so was probably the baby itself, give another few for the placenta, amniotic fluids, etc., and if she's breastfeeding, that's another bunch of calories burned multiple times a day... BUT HOLY SHIT YA'LL, THIS MUST BE A MIRACLE. LET'S PUT HER ON A MAGAZINE COVER. ALERT THE MOTHERFUCKING

Yes! This, this, this, this, so empathically this. YES.

Perfect, thank you! The Island is definitely on our "must do" list now. About to get on the road any minute (as soon as I can wrangle my son into a pair of pants)... I can NOT wait to get there and start exploring!

Puddicombe farms sounds PERFECT. Thank you so much for all the help! I'm going to do some more investigating into all the links now, and you are so incredibly hearted for your trouble and advice. Thank yooou!

Hahaha. Appropriate.

SUCH A BAD IDEA! Uggh I really should have known better, is the worst part. I think the wine made me weak and it was the kitteh's way of reminding me not to be such an idiot. Thanks, kitty! Soggy wet couches/dresses are a great way to snap me back into reality if ever there was one (/two).

We'll be getting in Sunday evening (and then be there all day Mon & Tues), so unfortunately probably too late for the market. BUT, good to know that the neighborhood is worth visiting anyway, and definitely good to know about the CN tour crappiness. Thank you!

I am SURE my partner would love the Science Centre (as would I), so that's definitely worth looking into. My son is about 12 months, so unfortunately he's really too young to enjoy anything yet (well... anything specifically designed for entertaining him, tourist-wise, anyway), but he might get a kick out of riding

That actually sounds reeeally nice and relaxing! Probably much akin to what I'll be doing when I get back home to Chicago after the whirlwind tourist exploration.

Yes! A bunch of people have sung the Island's praises, so I think this has definitely moved its way onto my "must visit" list. Thank you!

Oh man, I am SO excited for the food. I'm also really, really hoping we can check out Kensington Market now, thanks to all the recs. The Distillery District sounds really great also, though. We'll have to try to spend some time there, as well. Thanks for the awesome input!

Awesome! Thank you!

Hooooly hell, this is awesome. Thanks so much! I feel like printing this out and taking it with us, it's so comprehensive. My son is only 12 months, so a brewery tour is (sadly) probably out. I'm also a vegetarian, so super excited to try out Fresh! Silver Snail also sounds pretty cool, and I've heard lots of recs so

Haha. It's true.

This is a really good idea. I'm tearing up reading everyone's responses. You ladies are wonderful.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. It is too bad. She seems so naturally pretty (and part of the reason for that is how comfortable she seems in her "own" skin), so it really sucks that she feels compelled to cover that up with fake standards of beauty. She's still badass, but yeah—that's sad. Hopefully motherhood will help
