So you would like here to do...what, then? What she needs is a time machine, to go back before her life got so fucked up that she needed to kill someone over an electronic device.

You sound like a spoiled child who has never worked for anything. My dad is 58, works a shit job that barely pays the bills and has no hope of retirement. He’s never been to prison and is a good person. He doesn’t rob or murder people. Saying her punishment is too much because she’ll have to live the life millions of…
If death was the penalty for murder, I have a feeling a lot less people would get killed over their game consoles. But there’s no good outcome for this. 40 years or life. It’s the same. She will get out and go back or get out and have to live off of welfare and never have a fulfilling life.
Who cares? Her remorse or lack thereof does nothing for anyone. Having her locked up will protect her next potential victim. Tough shit if the results of her bad decisions makes her angry. She should direct the anger and hatred at the person in the mirror.
Hyperbole much? Robbing someone over a PS4 and killing them over it are the same thing to you? If you read the reports they had planned to rob someone and stumbled on this poor guys Craigslist ad. They also brought a handgun with them. All this guy wanted to do was sell his console and instead these two worthless…
Yeah she made a “mistake”, haha, you are amusing.
So, you are suggesting the criminal is irredeemable and we should just put her down for the sake of society? That is tough, but probably not a bad decision. Someone who will kill over a PlayStation is not someone who should be walking this Earth.
So we should feel bad for this piece of shit who brought a loaded gun to a craigslist deal?
considering GA is a death penalty state, it’s probably a hell of a deal
I’m fine paying for the incarceration of violent criminals. We should be far more pissed about the amount we pay to incarcerate non-violent drug offenders, which costs us much more and does very little to actually keep society safe.
40 years sounds about right
Which is clearly not the case here, since “ludonarrative” is literally the word coined to describe exactly what this trophy represents. Using the precise word isn’t smug, it’s communication. (And, in this case, really damn funny.)
“your an idiot”
Anti-intellectualism is such a sad and potentially destructive trend in our culture.
