while Warren looks somewhat strong with a muddled plan.

he’s not even that great a writer, so they were all going out of their way to publish and shield and reward him just because.

Media keeps focusing on her, so she has to keep redirecting to the person creating and MC’ing the show. Media is confused why she keeps redirecting.

There’s actually a perfectly legitimate argument for beginning the process in states like these

“the success of the hashtag also serves to counter a super-frustrating ‘Bernie Bro’ narrative.”

You could just have a national primary.

Let’s unpack this trope, shall we.

My favorite theory is that a SAHM wrote this re: her CEO husband and she wanted to show him that everyone thinks the amount of work she does is FUCKING INSANE.

Hi there! I think you answered your own question here. What’s the problematic part? The “accidentally” part. Young boys can and should explore sexuality—but the problem starts when we teach (or generally reinforce through media, etc.) that they can exert their sexual interests on anyone, whether the other person is

I mean that’s kind of rude, if someone feeds you something inedible for dinner you say thank you, eat as little as possible and order pizza on the way home.

It’s galling how the narrative is that she’s the one lying, or that she asked for this to be an issue. It’s even just been assumed she leaked this story with absolutely no evidence to support that conspiracy.

And had Bernie explained himself; it would have not damaged his campaign at all.  Most of us believe, including Warren supporters, that a woman running against Trump faces extra challenges than a man.  Instead he called her a liar.  And his rabid supporters did his dirty work for him and went full on misogynist rant.

I think we can declare the sister-in-law the winner of this Pissing Contest

Yeah sometimes the vaguely defined ”establishment” is right to marginalize someone because it’s their fucking job to weed out contrarians and lunatics and other undesirables the fact that they did that with Bernie does NOT mean people should embrace whomever just because they’re “anti-establishment” and that sentiment

Are you defending Cenk Uygur or Bernie Sanders. My point is about Bernie Sanders. The point is that while he opposes bigotry, his words demonstrate that he doesn’t care that much about it, which is why nobody should be all that surprised when he signals a willingness to forgive or overlook the bigotries of others.

No, I don’t believe a candidate who supports forcing a woman to carry a pregnancy and forcing her to give birth against her will deserves Sanders’ or any other progressive candidate’s endorsement.

I was never a supporter, but he became dead to me on that day. There is no freedom without reproductive freedom. Especially in a country where there is little to no government support of health insurance, maternity leave, paternity leave, disability (long or short term), childcare, sick leave, a living wage, etc.

“My name is Tommy Callaway, and I managed to have a long, intimate relationship with an adult woman and raise two little girls without ever once considering how fucked up it is to treat a woman’s body like public property. That proves what a good guy I am, right?”

partly explains why Harris—a wildly charismatic speaker with a better track record than some of her fellow nominees—is doing so badly.

Dumb sociopaths admire genius sociopaths, and then claim the sociopathy is the real measure of genius.  It’s just a way for shitty people to feel good about being amoral assholes.
