Absolutely correct, there’s no way to arrange the fibers in a way that they’ll stand a hit in a cargo bed. Think of a hammer hitting the side of a carbon tube or a carbon panel, crack for certain. The only thing it would save it is it is layer over a thin steel or aluminum. I would love to see a sandwich structure…
