I can’t remember how quickly I came to really love it, so I’m not sure if it’s something you’ll grow to love with more viewing. It’s possible that it’s just not for you? But I can say that the more I watched, the more invested I became and I was truly sad when it was over (I started watching it after the cancellation,

This is SUCH great news - I loved this show so much. I will watch the crap out of it if it comes back.

Yeah, as if the NYT didn’t call his camp for comment ahead of publication. They know exactly what it’s about.

Ooohhhh, Madonna better be representing at this thing.

I didn’t have a problem with the gesture (and I don’t generally have a problem with Toby, either - I find him mostly charming if a little extra), but what I did have a problem with was Hootie and the Blowfish. That might be a deal breaker. I mean, listen to all the Hootie you want, but don’t drag them into a public

....aaaannnnddd now all I want to do is listen to this soundtrack.

lol, good point.

Was just coming here to say that it’s interesting that he feels the need to atone for Boogie Nights, in which he played an innocent kid caught up in a crazy world (not to mention that it’s an actual great movie), but not Fear, where he plays a violent sociopath who controls his girlfriend, treats her best friend like

You won’t regret it - it’s very smart and VERY funny, and the music is excellent (and I’m not normally partial to anything labelled a ‘musical’).

Also, I really like Joe Mande a lot, but it really skeeves me out that he’s 34 and Ariel Winter is 19. That’s all I can see when they’re on screen together. I’m assuming he’s not playing his actual age (I only catch this show once in a while so I’m not well-versed), but it’s still weird.

Fucking yesssssssssssssssssss. I’m gonna go grab my denim in celebration.

I’m partial to ‘Mother May I Sleep With Danger?’myself, but really, any 90's tv movie starring some combination of young television actors was my jam. Remember Monday Night Movies on NBC, I think? It was constant sorority hazing incidents, college stalkers and abusive teen relationships with like, kids from Roseanne,

I think she’s my fave of the night from what I’ve seen.

Yeah, the supreme cheesiness of this moniker does not bode well for the actual clothes. I too imagine sequins, inspirational quote t-shirts and waterfall-front cardigans in every colour of the jewel tone rainbow. Every time I go shopping I become more and more frustrated that plus-size clothing buyers seem to think

Has anyone tried telling him to definitely NOT tie himself to train tracks? It might be our best bet.

John Popper is also a terrible person.

I haven't seen the episode yet so I'm waiting to read the recap, just wanted to say I'm so excited you're covering this show now. I've been loving it since the pilot and I'm so glad to see it getting more attention.

Every time i see this story somewhere it calls them an 'anti-immigration' group, but that's basically code for white supremacists, correct? I really would love to see these people being called what they are. I hate this safe, coded language being used to make bigotry sound more legitimate.

I have a real soft spot for Eddie Lee Capers/JW Stillwater. The phrase 'I heard a crime go' will never not be hilarious to me.

Always kick wolfman in the nards.
