That movie was directly responsible for getting me into radio broadcasting and its soundtrack opened my world up to a slew of great talents in music. At the time, I related to Christian Slater’s character big time as a nerdy social pariah who just wanted my true voice heard and to not judged by my looks alone. It gave

I love Pump Up the Volume. The soundtrack introduced a young me to Concrete Blonde and my life hasn’t been the same.

Drake is a nightmare man.

This is a bumer, I really liked that show. It was a really fun low-stakes summer sex comedy with some very charming performances. I like 70s aesthetics so I really dug the wardrobe and soundtrack as well! I didn’t think it stood much of a chance but I thought it would at least get season 2. Maybe another streamer will

No, it’s definitely been controversial, with more than a few critics accusing it of fatphobia or just general exploitativeness.

Seriously, how did this guy turn himself into the richest guy on the planet without self destructing before now?

I think that people want to see these “prestige” movies, but they are perfectly content to wait to see them on their home screen. I thin they should release in theaters for a short time for awards consideration, and then quickly make available to rent via streaming services.

So basically she’s of the opinion that it doesn’t matter that he beat the shit out of his partner and is unrepentant, he has good connections so she’s gonna police people’s reactions.

Hey Candace!  Kiss my lesbian ass!

It’s especially alarming because isn’t one of the new cast members nonbinary (maybe trans, but definitely goes by “they” pronouns)? Which seems pretty despicable because as a new member of the cast they’re not necessarily going to feel able to speak up and be like I don’t want anything to do with this.

they brought mitch hedberg back to life? cool, i though they were going to have a transphobic hack who hasn’t been funny for a decade. fuck, hedberg is still funnier than chapell, and hes dead.

An inch of toothpaste? That seems excessive. Other than that, none of this is surprising.

Yeah seriously. I was a teen very into fashion in the 90s and knew all the supermodels and… she isn’t one of them. Not even Tyra level second tier supermodel.

Off topic, but first.... I think we’re throwing the word Supermodel around pretty fast and loose. She was model in the 90's. She was nowhere near supermodel status.

At face value what he said is racist. Why would he claim he was “joking” about it if it wasn’t? He’s said and done so much blatantly racist crap over the years and you want to give the benefit of the doubt?

“I’m not a physician—”

May this motherfucker rot in jail and may Scientology finally burn to the ground.

I screamed whenI saw Kerri Washington as Lionel Ritchie that is amazing. Bretman Rock as Rufio from “Hook” was pretty dang on point for his brand, I liked his costume too.

Cool. Now I might actually watch it.

It seems like perhaps his concept of what’s “beneath him” is the whole problem.
