The slide of Satan laying with his head in his arms across Lake Cocytus is Dore. That's the one linked in this article. Immediately after that was the slide by Galle that Hannibal stood in front of.

Also, my favorite scene was Hannibal superimposed over Cornelis Galle's engraving of Satan with 'LUCIFER' etched in giant letters over his head. like most everything in Hannibal, what it lacked in subtlety it made up for in pure awesomeness.
This show is so sensual it's almost overwhelming. The food, the clothing, the faces, the bodies -the wallpaper, burnished, painted and aged wood, and hand-cast bronze fish tub handles.
Everything is shot with such an eye for texture and tactile sense I can feel it in my fingertips just watching.
I was so pleased by last night's balls-out ice zombie freak out that I had to draw this picture of the Night's King. Last night's episode made me really like the show again.
I understand why so many people loathe the finale to the Dark Tower, but for myself, I really can't think of a way the story could tie up any better. As he walks through the desert, he mentions the Horn of Eld at his side, which throughout the series Roland alluded to being shattered at Jericho Hill when Giliad fell.

I'm just focusing on the central villains in each of the movies. Master eloping with the photogenic tribe of feral kids at the end of the movie exempts him from that.
I mean, of course Master Blaster is awesome. Everyone knows that.
I was thinking about a top lieutenants inventory to supplement this one; Bubba Zanetti, Wez, Ironbar and Rictus Erectus. All nearly as awesome as the central bad guys.
Because that's exactly what it is!
The clockwork precision of all the big spectacle movies I enjoy watching has had the side effect of making me more excited about sloppy film making. Dream-like tone-pieces with minimal narrative cohesion are a welcome contrast to the airtight containers of most big movies.
I'm really looking forward to Tale of Tales.
Mostly, while I understand the distinction (and I know you weren't implying value judgement), I don't really care about it. there's sufficient overlap between the two that I don't feel the detail-specific taxonomy offers any benefits to the discussion.
I'm not interested in making this a gender treatise, but for me this debate about toy vs. game is usually implicit with a common observation of how boys play and how girls play.
Much of the worries voiced by the lousier corners of the internet at the idea of expanding gaming's audience has to do with the hard-edged…
That seems a little reductive for you Ghaleon. I think these things are all more intertwined than that. Trying to classify what is or isn't a game by explicit rule sets ignores the implicit structure we imbue with softer, more forgiving games like Minecraft and Toca Town. Inversely, in a straight-up game of…
Not so! I've always been crushed underneath the weight of my anxiety about my mortality!
Yes, as befitting the era, that person will be fired upon with a blunderbuss.
I loved the transition from Slynt's decapitation immediately to the brothel. Game of Thrones measures out their blood to boob ratio as exacting as any recipe.
Yeah, I'm more offended as an illustrator than as a fairweather comic fan. I'm sure a half-hour of brainstorming would lead to some more mind-bending tattoo idea / application methods than recreating my brother's high school Graffix bong.
I've always been a little lost on the subtext for the Joker, so I'm grateful for the clarification this iteration of the character provides.
Thanks, Girard. I appreciate that.
I individually kerned each character.
The show continues to do such a fantastic job of creating sets that have enough real-world influence to feel substantial. The Mediterranean-style double doors set in the massive, windowless temple of The House of Black and White is beautifully realized.
That goes for all of Bravos. I loved the hazy shots of the city…
