$10 for Plants vs. Zombies is spot on, I think. The iPhone version is great but you really need a bigger screen. PC is good too but for that game I prefer a touch interface.

I think most people would be willing to rage-out less about the iPad if tech columns and Apple itself eased up on the hyperbole.

More publishers should follow suit. I think Atlus gets it, as does Ignition. The $60 (or $50 for Wii games) price point should not be the only option for retail. There is room for $40, $30, or even $20 price points in the games market.

I was actually eager to buy new maps.

greaaaat. I have the PS3 version but apparently my $60 isn't worth the same as a 360 owner's. It'll probably only be a little while until we get the maps but it's still a tad annoying.

@reverend_green: I know I'm still running on integrated intel-graphics. It's a drag but I was aware of the limitations going in. It's almost three years old. Gaming or not- I love it.

No way it'll run on my (white plastic) Macbook, bummer.
