There’s actually an interesting explanation for the 3 pipes. The smaller center one creates negative pressure at higher RPMs to tune the exhaust more, reducing booming between shifts, so not just a dummy/for show thing.

I’m going to guess someone buying this thing doesn’t care too much about the cost associated with a respray.

Totally agree. I’ve always loved Detroit, but this year was seriously meh. No surprises and most of the planned debuts really disappointed me. That new Kia might be the most “exciting/new” thing to happen this show.

Hm, I actually detest this new model and love the outgoing one. I think it’s the most attractive minivan from this century. Now they’ve added a bunch of awkward lines on the side, ditched the futuristic vibe for a utilitarian one (fat headlights and tail lights), and embraced the “elongated Pilot” look too much. I get

I thought that of the pre-facelift. The headlights were just an arbitrary shape with that little plastic-looking bulge cut-out. Now it’s integrated and looks purposeful with the grille.

That looks like the most generic f*ing car... I will never understand people love for cars during this time. They are all SO bland.
