Just from reading the article, it doesn’t come across as body shaming (it doesn’t seem like the coach was being critical of Cambage’s build), it cam across as yes, some hyperbole in trying to get a call made for his player.

The fact that a bit of hyperbole, said to a ref while trying to illustrate the size difference between two players, has been made into a scandal gives another reason for people to think the WNBA is a joke.

Huh? Vikings is just a generic term for Norse people from that era. Specifically people that traveled on long boats to new lands. It’s well known that women played a significant role in that.

I think everybody by now knows about Shieldmaidens.

Because I strongly believe in fairness and equality, I would like to point out that I have hoped for backlashes on horrible musicians of all genders

“OMG, you guys! Being a teenager is finally acceptable, thanks to Billie Eilish! Her brand is, like, so on-point and engaged and representative. Just kill yourselves now, Boomers*. It’s our time!”

Is this like some paid Twitter influencer type trend that’s spreading this around because honestly, this isn’t that great. It’s not even good. There’s like a 100 better meme-able reactions. Maybe I’m just getting old. Get off my digital lawn.

I don’t get her. Probably because I’m an old. I like being an old. It keeps me from understanding stuff.  Like why kids want to dress up like highlighter markers.  Is that a drug thing?  Probably.  Bunch of little bastard dopers.  Ought to call the cops on ‘em.  Billy Elijah is a juggalo.

If she hates all this shit so much and shes just sooooo awkward, why the fuck does she keep going to award shows? You ever try and get your teenager to do anything they don't want to? Good fuckin luck. It's just so corny

“I did not watch the halftime show live, but you better believe that I watched and rewatched clips over and over in the past week. Using every available watching technologies, including pausing, slo-motion, close-ups. (Oh man the close-ups.)All in the confines of my locked darkened study on my internets.”

Yea, I knew when Kotick came in it was ‘turd in the punchbowl’ time...

No, it really is self-destructive. These companies are feeding off themselves. It’s the PEF brokers sucking the ‘value’ out of a company, its name and IP, until there’s nothing left. Then they sell off the desiccated remains and move onto the next company.

It’s really disheartening as a life-long Blizzard fan.
I mean, I’ve gone to 3 Blizzcons now (including as far back as 2010) and have their merch adorning my home in every corner.
My spouse and I still play Diablo 3 to this day when we’re off-work.
So, seeing this behavior from Blizzard is a massive disappointment.

I’ll give you a hint. It rhymes with “Pactivision”

Are we supposed to be shocked that Blizzard acted like a moderately ethical and responsible corporation in accepting refund requests for something that wasn’t up to snuff?

Yep. All they had to do was...literally nothing to it. And they still managed to fuck it up.

Can’t tell if its Bobby’s burner account or a sweet summer child.

It’s almost as if the mentality of greater profits over better products and services is inherently self-destructive...but, nah. Screw that noise. Let’s make more money!

Honestly, the most egregious part of this whole debacle is the over-writing of the original product. It blows my mind that anyone thought that would be a good idea, or that it would be well-received.

It’s not just the sugar in coke, but the type. High fructose corn syrup, plus coke is acidic compared to, say kool-aid. Wreaks havoc on the teeth.
