People getting miffed at the idea that Microsoft "can't win" because they got complaints about putting Kinect in and now get complaints for taking it out? They kinda annoy me.

Nah, this is smart. Lets get this controversy out of the way and let E3 be all about the games. I can't believe they did it. Man, you can't say they aren't willing to right their wrongs. I personally use the Kinect every single day (for voice stuff), but this evens the playing field.

Oh, let me clarify: Insomniac announced the game at E3 2013, but they hadn't talked about those specific details (drinks turning you into monsters; evil corporation) before today. The leaker nailed those details months before they were announced, which adds credence to his other leaks.

Perfectly smooth, though the demo didn't have to render the whole city. It did crash on me once, but that doesn't mean anything now.

You know what's worse than dying in a game?

I was planning on eventually getting Bleemcast MGS disc. and I plan on getting a VGA box but I don't really need it that much because the Dreamcast already looks really good with composite.

Once a fanboy always a fanboy. You just switched sides.

In the tech field where the latest and greatest comes at a rapid fire pace, allegiances are silly at best; at worst, you become the fanboy that ends up cheating himself out of a several great experiences. Stop being such a pedant, especially if you're going to be an inaccurate pedant.

There's something very nice about the amount of dedication and curiosity that goes into breaking a game as much as possible to achieve these things. From the countless hours that go into tool-assisted runs to get every action pixel perfect to the ways they use to vault across vast expanses of data to skip areas. Even

Wouldn't VG247 have known that they were not, in fact, shown a Fallout at E3?

Because the OS is immutable and Microsoft has never done major UI overhauls on their consoles. Ever.

Oh, I'm sure they'll be added as new features in a future update, don't worry.

I can see why someone who's never worn a hard hat might think this was shopped. To me, it's just another symbol of why I hate hard hats.

Apparently the people thinking the Hardhat is not real have never worn a hardhat or seen one that is properly/improperly adjusted.

Absolutely. A big problem I have with games nowadays is that they feel too designed. Like "oh, hey, this is totally a game that does game things." I feel like simulation—where people do things because people would do those things—really would make shooters a lot better.

You have to love how everyone is bashing Microsoft for releasing the console so late in Japan. Let's ignore the fact that the very same people would be crying foul if Microsoft came out and said they weren't going to release the console at all. And the very same people are ignoring the fact that Sony, A JAPANESE
