It looks like they delayed the launch until the XB1 had some games on it that Japanese players might actually buy.

They actually used to rent consoles at Blockbuster a while back. I don't remember the rates, but you could definitely rent an N64 if you just wanted to play through the new Zelda or whatever.

It's the calm before the E3 storm

Chances Of Getting Made? Dunno. Is Splinter Cell still the force it once was as a brand?

It was ok. It was very slow to begin with and the first half of the game felt like an extended tutorial. The main character was not very likable. The economics mini-game was clumsy and unfun.

Except, didn't Quiet's face come from a scan of a model's face? It would be hard to find a model in real life who could pass as an older, transgender version of another character.

But by the time The Phantom Pain comes out, there will likely be an iPhone 6 with a different form factor.

It's not really a question of bandwidth, but ping. Fiber isn't the answer, but nearby server centers would definitely be necessary. My ping on their servers for Titanfall is in the 30s and I certainly don't have fiber in my house. If we were talking about something like 4K movie streaming, then bandwidth would be more

Do you think Respawn was working on Playstation versions up to the minute that exclusivity announcement went out? I just don't buy it. How would the head of a studio not find out before the public that their publisher was planning deals that would fundamentally alter game development only 9 months before launch? What

It instantly stresses me out when I hear this one.
