I thought this episode was setting up Tommy and Ginny. First, she needed to establish that SHE DOES NOT DATE BALL PLAYERS but I think over time, Tommy will wear her down . . . just in time for him to get traded to another team.

I only noticed this because I happen to know that Joshua Jackson is a leftie, but in Noah's version, Cole is holding the gun with his right hand (which immediately stood out to me), but in Alison's version, Cole has it in his natural left hand. Must mean something, although I am not sure what.
