It was a good movie by I'm astounded at the analysis its getting. But as everyone else is chipping in here's my two cents!

As an Android user we haven't had much luck with Evernote of late so I dumped it and switched to SpringPad quite a few months back. I can honestly say I don't regret it.

Er.. why don't you just make the round thumb bit twistable so when you want to lock it you turn through 180 degrees. Have two magnets on opposite edges, one which attracts, and the other set to repulse. No need for fancy buttons, etc!

Hey what happened to SpringPad? After all the trouble Android users have had this year with Evernote, I thought it would at least get a mention.

@Stevox: Trust me - if you've ever travelled on the trains in the UK its not a waste. The current rail network is a mess and current rail stock old and badly in need of a refresh/reboot

I did notice this in your Firefox beta announcement the other day - it seemed weird that the Firefox window still had a normal title space up top and this is where the menu button sat. It looks much better to the left of the left-most tab.

If they ever launch in the UK I'll use it!

Installed it on my HTC Desire yesterday and now I'm used to it, it has definitely increased the speed I can "type" things.

I certain hope that it doesn't produce HDR's like the one in your example. Its overblown over the top processing like this that has given HDR such a bad name.

Whilst I used to wait (and wait and wait) for people to move, or use this method (its quite an old tip) I now find that leaving some people in the shot makes for a much better photograph.

For me it just happened. I moved into a new role which as it had a global responsibility didn't need me to be based anywhere in particular.

@TheFu: Whilst I certainly don't miss Pine I do think they should concentrate more on an integrated solution for email and calendaring - i.e. more of an Outlook competitor.

@Lemcott87: I agree - the test is hugely flawed.

I would definitely second this.

How about starting with your news feed which has been displaying all its HTML for the world to see all day long.

Now all we need is for them to launch Google Voice somewhere other than the US (i.e. UK!)

The AMEX Platinum Card is via PriorityPass. You can sign up for PriorityPass without an AMEX, but as mentioned, if you have certain cards you get the membership free.

I've used Thunderbird for a few years now and have no problems with it. It does what it says on the can!
