Yeah it was weird…but that close beach is in fact super close to sunken city. Close enough for the full baywatch shot to not be impossible.

Seriously, thank you for writing this series of articles. This music, scene, and ethic were and are SO important to my upbringing/becoming an adult/identity/all that stuff. I'm a composer, and have always told my colleagues that if it wasn't for punk I wouldn't be in music, and sure as hell wouldn't be in avant-garde…

In the comic, Joe's group, The Hunters, were the cannibals. Looks like the show split them into just hunters and just cannibals. It was a pretty minor arc too…though having expected cannibals, I'm actually kind of excited to see how Rick et al get out of this.
