Also check at hospitals if you haven't already. There are a couple big companies there that hire for lab work. Might not even have to be microbiology... look for cytology or other related lab work (at least for entry level).

I'll second GreenGeeks. Never had a problem with them. Dot5Hosting is cheaper and I haven't had a problem with them, either... but you don't get that smug "green" feeling of superiority. :)

Putting 3d glasses on top of my regular glasses makes me feel like an idiot, so I rarely see 3d movies anyway.
